Something the Angels Cannot Do
Ephesians 2:1-2
10/10/22
I have been attending the Friday morning Bible Study for men at Prestonwood Baptist Church for the past couple of Friday mornings. Last Friday's message posed an interesting thought that I never considered. The speaker, former All-American at Baylor, Dr. Neal Jeffery, said something I wanted to share with you today.
He said, "Angels cannot say what a man has experienced." What does that mean? Think about the difference between humans and angels. Angels are in Heaven worshipping whenever one sinner comes to salvation. (Luke 15)
They cannot say, "I was lost, but now I am found." Or, "I was blind, but now I see."
The point is you are called by God. Before your calling and accepting of the salvation found in Christ alone, you were spiritually dead. (Ephesians 2:1-2)
When you come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ, you get to be a part of God's plan. You can say what the angels cannot, you were dead, but now you are alive.
Have you accepted the gift of salvation?
